2026. Toronto on the world stage
The Challenge

A World Cup deadline does not move. Event infrastructure work runs on fixed dates, elevated venue standards and dense multi-trade coordination — every system signed off and performing before the first whistle.

Solution Delivered

Commercial plumbing systems, infrastructure upgrades and construction plumbing delivered on schedule as part of the city's tournament preparations — quiet, essential work behind a world-stage event.

Retail Fit-Out · Rough-In
Project Overview

At one of North America's busiest retail destinations, GTA Pipeworks delivers tenant fit-out plumbing for new retail construction and renovations, alongside maintenance services for the centre — the plumbing behind every new storefront and refreshed space.

Fit-out ready. Retail construction & renovation plumbing
The Challenge

Retail fit-outs live inside an occupied, high-traffic mall. Work has to move fast to hit tenant opening dates, stay invisible to shoppers, and tie into base-building systems without disrupting the neighbours on either side of the hoarding.

Solution Delivered

Coordinated fit-out plumbing — rough-ins, fixture installation and base-building tie-ins — executed to landlord standards and tenant schedules, backed by responsive maintenance that keeps existing retail spaces operating without interruption.

Exhibition Place Campus
Project Overview

Exhibition Place is a city within the city — heritage buildings, modern venues and event facilities spread across a working lakefront campus. GTA Pipeworks delivers gas work, maintenance, repairs, renovations and construction projects across the grounds.

Campus-wide. Gas, plumbing & infrastructure projects
The Challenge

The campus pairs century-old heritage structures with modern event venues, all running on a packed public calendar. Gas piping demands licensed, code-exact execution — and every project has to work around live events, public access and the constraints of legacy infrastructure.

Solution Delivered

A full-scope trade partner for the campus: licensed gas piping installed and labelled to code, planned maintenance and repairs across facilities, and construction and infrastructure upgrades delivered around the venue schedule.

Project Overview

Beneath one of Canada's premier convention venues, decades-old cast iron sanitary infrastructure had reached the end of its service life. GTA Pipeworks removed the existing cast iron and replaced it with a modern XFR piping system — engineered for longevity, improved acoustic performance and superior fire resistance.

800 ft Cast iron sanitary piping replaced
The Challenge

A venue of this scale doesn't pause its event calendar for plumbing. The replacement had to be executed around live operations — protecting finished spaces, coordinating access through active service corridors and keeping sanitary systems available to the rest of the building throughout the work.

Solution Delivered

Full removal of the legacy cast iron runs and installation of 800 feet of XFR piping, tied into the building's existing systems and tested to spec. The result: a quieter, fire-rated sanitary backbone built to serve the venue for decades.

CS-05 · Hospitality & Convention Centre

Toronto Congress Centre

Ongoing Partnership Facility-Wide
Project Overview

The Toronto Congress Centre hosts a continuous rotation of trade shows, conferences and corporate events. GTA Pipeworks provides ongoing maintenance, repairs, renovations and construction support across the facility — keeping every system show-ready, year-round.

Ongoing. Maintenance & construction support
The Challenge

An event-driven facility runs on hard deadlines: systems have to perform during shows and every repair, upgrade or renovation has to be completed in the narrow windows between them. There is no room for a plumbing issue on opening day.

Solution Delivered

A standing service relationship built around the venue's calendar — preventative maintenance to catch issues before they surface, rapid-response repairs when they do, and clean, coordinated support for renovations and new construction across the campus.
